About Music and Art Classes for Children of All Ages
The “i” in iSchool of Music & Art stands for INSPIRATION. Our students are educated through inspiration, demonstration, and performance to bring out their true potential. Founded in 2005, iSchool of Music & Art on Long Island NY offers a truly unique combination of music and art lessons and other programs for children of all ages and skill levels.
Many of our Music Department programs also emphasize the collaborative nature of music where you will be paired with fellow students to create Rock Bands, Jazz, Pop, or Percussion Ensembles, Classical String Quartets, or even Piano Trios. We encourage our students to perform and demonstrate their musical achievements on stage for a live audience. Our students have performed at world famous venues on Long Island and NYC, such as The Bitter End and Carnegie Hall.
Our Art Department offers weekly art classes for children on various mediums from Drawing, Painting, Cartooning and Animation, and Digital Art, which adheres to fundamental elements of art and principles of design. All of our art students will exhibit their artwork at our Art Show Exhibition held at the end of each semester. Adults who are interested in learning and exploring different artistic styles and techniques are welcome to join one of our quarterly adult workshop offerings in Mosaics, Printmaking, or Jewelry Making.
