Don't BUG Me in Florida!

So...there I was at the swimming pool at our Florida hotel. I liked the fact that I had the whole pool to myself. The sun was shining, and the water felt great! I usually love to swim a few laps to keep my muscles in shape. As I was swimming forward (I always do the breast stroke; it’s my favorite!), I noticed a little bug landed in the water and was squirming quite a bit...right in front of my face. I don’t know what kind of bug. Seemed like a combination of an ant and a bee…maybe three quarters of an inch. The poor little thing was flapping its wings...trying to get out of the water. So, being the super-heroine that I am, I cupped my hands under the bug and slowly, carefully lifted him onto the cement on the side of the pool. I watched him in “recuperation mode”...shaking off the water from his little body...and then...suddenly…a little gecko came running over and BOOM! HE ATE THE BUG! Just like that! Right in front of my eyes! I felt like a murderer!

Wonder if Geico sent him?
