Dr. Alan Kaplan Becomes Chairman of Syosset Hospital's Emergency Department

Syosset Hospital recently named a new chairman of its emergency department – Alan Kaplan, MD.

Dr. Kaplan is also the chairman of emergency medicine at Plainview Hospital, where he has held that role since 2009.

He is certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Kaplan is a graduate of New York Medical College and completed his residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset.
