Drunk Syosset Man Suffers Head Trauma After Wrong Way Crash: Police
Two others were injured after the crash early Monday morning, police say.

BETHPAGE, NY - A Syosset man was hospitalized with a minor head trauma after crashing into a car while drunk in Bethpage early Monday morning, according to Nassau Police.
According to police, 24-year-old Thomas Perotta was driving a 2016 Kia traveling south in the northbound lanes of the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway at about 2:52 a.m., police said.
Around exit 9, Perotta's car struck a 2007 Toyota causing it to hit a median and was redirected into the woods causing the Toyota to overturn several times.

The 48-year-old female driver of the Toyota and her 52-year-old male passenger suffered from back/neck injuries and were treated for their injuries at a local hospital, police said.
An investigation revealed that the Perotta was driving his car under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and was placed into police custody, police said.

He suffered minor head trauma and was transported in a Nassau County Police Ambulance to a local hospital where he is being treated, police said.
Perotta is charged with DWI, second degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving, and multiple NYS traffic and vehicle violations.
He will be arraigned when medically practical.
