Police say the dad followed another vehicle too closely and repeatedly swerved into other lanes.

JERICHO, NY — Police have arrested a Brooklyn man who they said drove drunk with his two kids and four other adults in a minivan in Jericho.
Jose Simon Cuzco Remache, 28, was driving his 2017 Dodge Caravan on North Broadway around 12:10 a.m. Saturday, Nassau County police said. Officers pulled him over near Bella Sonia Court and Jericho Oyster Bay Road when they saw him follow another vehicle too closely and repeatedly swerve into other lanes.
Officers noticed Remache's eyes were glassy and blood shot, police said, and the van smelled like alcohol. Remache was arrested without incident and his two kids, ages 5 and 7, were placed into the mother's custody, who was also in the vehicle at the time, police said.
