NY Mom's World is hosting the first ever “Baby & Toddler Bonanza” at the Holy Resurrection Greek Orthodox Church Hall in Glen Head, NY, June 30th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Expectant moms and moms of toddlers are invited to demo must-have baby gear and accessories and learn about the latest trends in maternity and mom fashion. Highlights include a free pre-natal and mommy and me yoga session, an infant CPR demo, “yummy treats,” and virgin “mamatinis” for participants. Games, crafts, face painting, a bounce house and pizza will also be available to keep older siblings busy while moms explore the event offerings. Participants are automatically entered into raffles to win prizes from Joovy, Enfamil, Daddy Scrubs, Ella’s Kitchen and more – ranging from strollers to free formula & baby food.
“There are many places offering information and products for moms and moms-to-be, but when you’re pregnant or taking care of an active toddler, it’s impossible to visit every one of them to find out what’s best for your needs,” notes Thalia Stamatelos, founder of NY Mom’s World. “Baby & Toddler Bonanza brings all of these things under one roof for you. It’s a great time-saver, and a unique opportunity to get information from renowned experts and see first-hand all the latest baby gear and fashion.”
Registration for the event is $55. Moms who register before June 19th will automatically receive $25 off the admission price and an “overflowing” goodie bag. Children are free and will be provided with pizza and entertainment. To register, visit http://www.nymomsworld.com/babyexpo.
Keynote Speakers at the Baby & Toddler Bonanza Include:
-Dr. Elissa Rubin, a Board Certified Pediatrician and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Registered Lactation Consultant. Dr. Rubin specializes in international medicine and has traveled to El Salvador on medical missions numerous times. She will discuss the right questions to ask a prospective pediatrician.
-Dr. Luke Hermann, currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Hermann conducts extensive research into emergency cardiology and has written many articles on the subject. He will instruct mothers on basic CPR techniques. He and his wife, Tara Summers Hermann, R.N., are authors of “Baby MedBasics” and will have copies of their book at the event.
“If you are an expectant mom or a mom of a toddler and would like a ‘one stop shop’ for baby gear, mommy trends and valuable physician advice, then you should not miss out on the first ever Baby & Toddler Bonanza,” said Stamatelos. “This is a great night out and learning opportunity for all moms. By the end of the evening, you will know exactly what to get for your toddler or put on your baby shower gift registry.”
