ICYMI: Groundhogs Found at Syosset Home

In case you missed it, here's a story that appeared last week in Syosset Patch:

It seems that groundhogs are popping up in Syosset - and it's not even Groundhog Day.

One local resident, Johanna Cook, has said that she has spotted groundhogs in her backyard ruining her garden and landscaping, according to multiple reports.

While she doesn't know exactly how many groundhogs there are, she has seen several digging and popping up by her fence.

She has tried to plug up the holes using bricks, but they still continue to show up, she told News12.

“I decided that maybe I should try to catch them,” she toldCBS2. “I don’t know if this cage is sufficient. I think that maybe it’s a little too small. We have to be very careful not to get ourselves bitten and have a bigger problem.”
