ICYMI: Man Pleads Guilty To Woodbury Crash That Permanently Injured Child

A Huntington man pleaded guilty on Wednesday to charges related to a crash that left a 10-year-old girl permanently injured in Woodbury in March 2016, Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas said.

Eugene Golden, 61, pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular assault, two counts of second-degree assault and aggravated operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
The NCDA is recommending that Golden be sentenced to 12 years in prison although he is expected to be sentenced to 4 1/2 years in prison.
