Police ID Victims In Fatal Nassau Domestic Stabbing
Sources say the violence started with an argument about the man losing his job earlier in the day.
UPDATE, 12:45 P.M.: Police have identified the victims in the fatal stabbing as Frances and Howard Kazer. Their son, Ian Kazer, has been charged with second-degree murder and second-degree attempted murder.
Police say Ian Kazer will be arraigned when medically practical.
ORIGINAL STORY: A Syosset man was arrested after police say he stabbed both his parents in their home Wednesday night.

Police say the 29-year-old man got into an argument with his 66-year-old mother and 69-year-old father after he was fired from his job earlier in the day. The argument led to him stabbing both of them, police said.
ABC7 reported that his mother was stabbed in the upper torso and neck and died at the hospital. His father was stabbed in the chest, and is in stable condition.
