Nassau Police Report: Week of March 16

Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of Mar. 16 to Mar. 24.

Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Syosset area over the past week as reported by police:

  • Mar. 7: Branko Stojanoski, 56, of Hicksville was arrested for shoplifting from Home Depot on Jericho Turnpike in Jericho.
  • Mar. 11: Mark Chamberlain, 45, of Hauppauge was arrested for shoplifting from Macy's at the Broadway Mall in Hicksville.
  • Mar. 11: Sonali Rawool, 31, of Bethpage was arrested for shoplifting from Target at the Broadway Mall in Hicksville.
  • Mar. 12: Branda Guillen, 25, of Glen Cove was arrested for shoplifting from Macy's in the Broadway Mall in Hicksville.
  • Mar. 15: Tyler Triquet, 19, of Wantagh was arrested for shoplifting from Stop and Shop on Hicksville Road in North Massapequa.
  • Mar. 16: A 49-year-old Massapequa man was arrested for possessing marijuana on Old Sunrise Highway and County Line Road in Massapequa.
  • Mar. 18: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole her personal property at the Olive Garden restaurant on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa.
  • Mar. 18: A woman reported that someone entered her car and rummaged through her purse at the Bethpage Motel on Hempstead Turnpike in Bethpage.
  • Mar. 19: A man reported that someone stole both plates from his car on Amherst Lane in Hicksville.
  • Mar. 20: Cami Garcia-Aviles, 30, of Corona was arrested for shoplifting from TJ Maxx on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa.
  • Mar. 21: A man reported that someone entered his car and stole his check book on Crest Hollow Court in Farmingdale.
  • Mar. 22: A man reported that someone damaged his car with a pellet gun on Alpine Drive in Syosset.
