National Night Out Draws Crowd in Oyster Bay

National Night Out drew a crowd on Tuesday.

The event served to honor and thank police for their commitment to the community and safety.

The Second Precinct was well represented at the Tuesday evening Cruise Night on Audrey Avenue in Oyster Bay. In addition to an antique police car there were two policemen and two police explorers.

“People responded very well and enjoyed seeing the older police car which brought back so many memories,” Leg. Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) said. “It was truly a special evening for the second precinct which does so much for all of us.”
