Police ID Teen Killed In Nassau Crash
The 19-year-old died and three others were injured after a car crashed into a home.
PLAINVIEW, NY - Nassau Police have identified the woman killed after a car crashed into a Plainview home last week.
Shakira Garcia, 19, of Westbury died after a 2004 Acura crashed into a home on 1529 Round Swamp Road at at 4:15 a.m. on Nov. 12, police said.
Garcia was one of the passengers in the car, which crashed after the driver lost control going around a curve, sending the car into the home.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. The three other people in the car were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
The occupants of the home were not injured.
