Nassau Dad Drove Drunk With 13-Year-Old Kid In Car, Police Say
Police say they pulled over the father after seeing him unsafely change lanes.
SYOSSET, NY — A Syosset man has been arrested after police said he drove his SUV drunk through Greenvale with his 13-year-old kid in the vehicle.
Police officers pulled over Patrick Halligan, 42, after seeing him dangerously change lanes around 10:15 p.m. Saturday, Nassau County police said. The 2014 Jeep Wrangler had been heading east on Northern Boulevard and Glen Rove Road when officers activated their lights.
Halligan was arrested without incident. His teen child was released into the mother's custody, police said.

Halligan has been charged with DWI, aggravated DWI with a child under 16, endangering the welfare of a child and unsafely changing lanes. He was arraigned Sunday in Hempstead.
