Syosset Firefighters Battle Woodbury Attic Fire
Two firefighters were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
Syosset firefighters successfully contained and extinguished a large house fire at Gloria Drive in Woodbury Monday around 3:30 p.m.
Two firefighters were treated and released at the scene for heat and smoke conditions. Firefighters made an aggressive interior attack on the fire to quickly knock it down before it could spread throughout the home.
3rd Assistant Chief Douglas Share was in command of the operation, while the Jericho and Plainview Fire Departments were also called to the scene.
