Syosset Hospital Recognized for Bariatric Services

Syosset Hospital was recently recognized for helping overweight patients shed their weight through its bariatric services.

To obtain this recognition from the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program, Syosset Hospital went through rigorous staff training and created protocols to help obese patients lose weight.

Syosset Hospital offers services and solutions to help improve the health of those who have a body max index of 30 or higher. National Institutes of Health reports there are nearly 16 million severely obese people in the United States.
