Tesla Crashes Into Cupcake Shop
The storefront was damaged after the driver lost control. Fortunately, no one was injured.
SYOSSET, NY — A car crashed into Smallcakes Syosset, a cupcake and creamery shop, Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
At 1:46 p.m., the Syosset Fire Department was alerted that a car crashed into the building of Prestige Hair Design at 335 Jackson Ave. in Syosset. Responders said the driver of a Tesla lost control and crashed into the storefront of Smallcakes Syosset at 339 Jackson Ave.
Thankfully, the driver and people inside the store were not injured, though they were shaken up. However, the storefront was damaged.

The Town of Oyster Bay Building Department was called to inspect the building, which closed after the accident.
