WATCH: Syosset's Idina Menzel Leads 'Let It Go' Sing-Along

The Tony-winner helped raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Looks like Syosset High alum Idina Menzel won’t ”Let It Go.”

After a recent “If/Then” Broadway performance, the Tony-winner went into spontaneous-auction mode, giving audience members the chance to join her onstage in a rendition of “Let It Go,” her hit from Disney’s “Frozen,” TheaterMania reports.

The auction raised $4,800 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, in advance of the organization’s 26th Annual Gypsy of the Year shows on Dec. 8-9, according to Broadway Cares. For six weeks leading up to the shows, Broadway and Off-Broadway cast, crew and volunteers help Broadway Cares raise funds with various performances and by selling theater memorabilia.
