Department Of Public Works Postpones April Yard Waste And Construction Debris Collection
DPW crews are focused on essential services only in accordance with the New York State executive order to help slow spread of coronavirus.

City of Syracuse Department of Public Works (DPW) will postpone the scheduled spring yard waste and construction debris collection for all quadrants beginning March 30, 2020 until further notice.

DPW crews are focused on essential services only in accordance with the New York State executive order to help slow the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The self drop-off site located at 1200 Canal St. will be open beginning (date) Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays for yard waste drop offs only. Residential construction debris should be held for future pick up.

Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency is accepting essential construction and debris drop-offs at the Ley Creek location Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Town of Camillus Construction & Demolition Landfill will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. To learn more about composting your yard waste at home, visit ocrra.org/services/compost/diy/.
