Mayor Walsh Announces Road Reconstruction Project On Syracuse's Grand Avenue

Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced a road reconstruction project beginning Monday on Grand Avenue, between Delaware Street and Velasko Road. Milling (removing the top layer of asphalt) will start Monday with repaving to follow. Grand Avenue will be closed during the work. Detours will be marked. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the week. Actual project timeframes are contingent on favorable weather.
