Syracuse Department Of Public Works To Begin Paving Projects On Irving Avenue On July 15 And Harrison Street On July 16

Weather-permitting, each project is expected to be completed within two work days, with the street opened by the end of the each day.

The City of Syracuse Department of Public Works (DPW) will begin a milling and paving project on Irving Avenue, between E. Adams Street and Waverly Avenue, on Wednesday, July 15. In addition to the project on Irving Avenue, DPW will begin a separate milling and paving project on Harrison Street, between Irving and Ostrom Avenues, on Thursday, July 16.

Weather-permitting, each project is expected to be completed within two work days, with the street opened by the end of the each day. The work for both projects is scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic for the duration of each project.
