Syracuse Mayor Walsh Announces Road Reconstruction Project On Park Street

Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced a road reconstruction project on Park Street on the City’s North Side. Crews will mill (remove the top layer of existing pavement) and repave Park Street, from Oak Street to Butternut Street, beginning Wednesday, July 21.

The project is expected to be completed in about ten days. The road will be closed to all traffic during active milling and paving but will reopen at other times. Detours will be marked. Actual project start dates and timeframes are contingent on favorable weather.
