Syracuse School District Orange Zone Testing To Begin Monday, November 30th

All of the schools in the Syracuse City School District with the exception of Roberts PK-8 and Corcoran High School are in the Orange Zone.

All of the schools in the Syracuse City School District with the exception of Roberts PK-8 and Corcoran High School are in the New York State Orange Zone. All students and staff in all schools, except Roberts and Corcoran must be take a COVID-19 test and test negative in order to attend school in person.

The County Health Department will be administering mandatory testing at nine of our schools allowing them to open for in person instruction on Monday, November 30th. The testing will take place as students and staff enter school on Monday, November 30th.

The schools scheduled to test on Monday include: Bellevue, Delaware Primary, Franklin, Montessori at LeMoyne, McCarthy at Beard, Porter, Seymour Dual Language Academy, STEAM at Dr. King and Webster. These schools plus Roberts and Corcoran will be open for in person instruction on Monday, November 30th.

All schools not scheduled for testing on Monday will be remote.

The remaining schools will follow the testing schedule below. Your school will remain virtual until the scheduled testing date.

Tuesday, December 1st
Dr. Weeks, McKinley Brighton, Meachem, Salem Hyde, Van Duyn, Ed Smith, H. W. Smith and Huntington

Thursday, December 3rd
Elmcrest, Frazer, Oasis, ELMS, Syracuse Latin, Clary, Brighton Academy and Grant

Friday, December 4th
Lincoln, STEAM @ Blodgett, Henninger, ITC, Nottingham, PFLA and PSLA @ Fowler
