The City of Syracuse Department of Public Works is switching the operation of the traffic signal located at the intersection of S. Geddes and W. Onondaga Streets from flashing yellow to standard operation (red, yellow, green) on Thursday, Apr. 1.

The changeover is scheduled annually to better control the flow of traffic on the busy Geddes Street hill after the conditions experienced during the winter months from November through March.
