1st Female Fire Chief Elected in Tarrytown

She is a 12-year veteran of the volunteer department.

TARRYTOWN, NY - The first female fire chief was just elected by the Tarrytown Volunteer Fire Department.

Kelly Murphy was installed as chief at the department’s annual meeting Friday, according to lohud.com.
