2 Arrested In Armed Robbery Of Verizon Store

The search for a third suspect is ongoing.

GREENBURGH, NY — Two men accused of robbing a Greenburgh Verizon store and leading police on a chase were arraigned Wednesday in Greenburgh Town Court. Diabel Samb, 32, and Mamadou Ndao, 24, were both charged with first-degree burglary, a felony.

Three suspects were armed when they walked into the Central Avenue store Tuesday around 11 a.m. to rob it, the Daily Voice said.

They led police agencies through Yonkers, damaging the Jeep they were in and a county police vehicle. One another suspect has not been apprehended.
