2 Arrested In Tarrytown For Stealing From Mailbox

The county district attorney has written to senators and representatives to get them to pressure the postal service to end mail thefts.

TARRYTOWN, NY — Two Bronx residents were arrested for allegedly stealing from a mailbox in Tarrytown. Jade William and Sean Michael Dash were both charged with two felonies including third-degree grand larceny.

They were arrested Friday after being seen engaging in some suspicious activity in front of North Broadway mailbox around 3 a.m., the Journal News said.

Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino Jr. just sent a letter to the county’s congressional representatives asking them to pressure the U.S. Postal Service to do something to end the rash of mail thefts throughout Westchester.
