2 New Administrators Appointed In Tarrytown District
The board of education chose to promote from within.

TARRYTOWN, NY — The Board of Education of the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns announced the appointment of two current district administrators to the positions of assistant superintendent for learning and assistant superintendent for administration at its Aug. 30 meeting.
The new assistant superintendent for learning is Scott Dorn, who has served as the director of pupil person in the district for a little more than six years. His prior experience includes coordinator of special education and related services at Wappingers Central School District and as a school social worker/SCE chairman at the Monticello Central School District.
The new assistant superintendent for administration is Pamela Fisk. She has been the director of human resources in the district for the past three years. Her prior experience includes serving as assistant superintendent for human resources at Orange-Ulster BOCES, the director of adult and continuing education at Sullivan County BOCES and the commissioner of personnel for Sullivan County.

Both Dorn and Fisk said they were excited about their new positions and are looking forward to working with Superintendent Christopher Borsari on implementing the district goals and continuing to move the district forward instructionally and professionally, as well as working with faculty, staff and Board of Education, according to a spokesperson.
