Beth Goldstein Is Named CEO of Bethel Homes

Croton-on-Hudson - Beth Goldstein has been named Chief Executive Officer of Bethel Homes, in Croton-on-Hudson and Ossining, NY, effective August 22nd, 2011.  As the only not-for-profit organization in Northern Westchester to offer a full continuum of care, Bethel helps older adults live life to the fullest through community service programs, housing options and skilled nursing care.


James Holden, Jr., Esq., and Chairperson of Bethel’s Board of Directors says, “We are so pleased that Ms. Goldstein has joined the Bethel community in this executive role. Her vision and experience, as well as her tested and thoughtful leadership, will be significant in establishing Bethel as a model of care, assessment and support for the elderly in Westchester. She has remarkable insights and a consistently proven record of leadership with highly complex and dynamic healthcare organizations during tough, economic times.” 


Ms. Goldstein established her career 21 years ago at the Dumont Masonic Home in New Rochelle.   She successfully developed a certified sub-acute ventilator- dependent unit and the Robert Fink Center for Living, an award winning model of early Alzheimer’s Care. She relocated to Connecticut in 2003 where she served as President of the Jewish Home. Through her vision for senior services she has effectively developed many programs throughout the years.

“I am very honored by the trust the Board has placed in me to lead Bethel,” says Ms. Goldstein.  “Together, we are going to build something very special for the elders in our community that will serve all of their needs.  I am eager to begin.  I look forward to mobilizing the staff as we begin working with our local hospitals and social service agencies to create a seamless system of choices that will ensure stability, safety and security for our seniors,” she continued.


Bethel is uniquely positioned in the eldercare marketplace in Westchester because of its broad spectrum of affordable service options for the middle class consumer.

Ms. Goldstein serves on a variety of community boards and is active in a wide range of community activities.  In addition, she has been selected to assume leadership roles in policy making on the national, state and local levels. Ms. Goldstein was educated in Health Administration at C.W. Post, Long Island University and Health Planning and Administration at New York University. 

She and her husband Craig are the proud parents of two children.
