Phelps Memorial Hospital has welcomed two board certified physicians to the medical staff. Dr. Majid Sabour of Irvington is a family medicine physician and Dr. Catalina Cincu of Ossining is an internist.

Dr. Sabour earned his medical degree in Europe in 1991 and completed his residency in Family Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He is board certified in Family Medicine, providing preventive care and treatment for acute and chronic illness to patients of all ages. Dr. Sabour has over twenty years of clinical experience and has served as a clinical instructor at New York Medical College. He is multi-lingual, speaking French, Russian, Arabic and some Spanish. Dr. Sabour's office is temporarily located in Sleepy Hollow. In the near future, he will be moving back to his previous location on Ashford Avenue in Dobbs Ferry. Dr. Cincu earned her medical degree in Europe in 1992 and completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in nephrology at the Metropolitan Hospital Center in Manhattan. Dr. Cincu is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. She is multi-lingual, speaking Spanish, French and Romanian. Before coming to Phelps, Dr. Cincu practiced in White Plains.
