Sleepy Hollow High School Original Student Video to Air on MSG Varsity This Saturday

MSG Varsity’s High School Life, a student-produced monthly show, that presents student created videos and features ranging from academics to art to events, will feature a video production by Sleepy Hollow High School seniors Jack Bender, Kevin Caban, Eudy Mata and Dorian Hamilton, and junior Julia Rennert titled Hollow Run. It is one of nine segments that will appear in the upcoming episode of High School Life, which will air on Saturday, February 9, at 12:00 p.m. on MSG Varsity, Optimum TV channel 14.

Hollow Run begins with a student (played by Dorian Hamilton) playing a new game on his iphone, called Hollow Run. Having trouble with the game, he shows it to a friend (played by Julia Rennert). In the game, the player (played by Kevin Caban) runs through the hallways of the school where he must jump over fire and collect coins, all while being chased by three monkeys (played by Jack Centra, Eudy Mata and Mike Valentin). It ends with the player being caught by the monkeys—as sort of a “game over.”

“Part of our mission at MSG Varsity is to help educate students about television production through our media creation program,” said Michael Lardner, Executive Producer and Senior Vice President of MSG Varsity. “Our student-produced shows give us a platform to showcase what kids are learning and accomplishing in those classes.”
