Moronta has been charged with Second Degree Murder; he was arrested in Yonkers several hours after the 11 p.m. incident.
Barnhart Park reportedly has become a teen hangout after-hours, but not the site of such violence.
“It’s sad to say that, someone you know for such a long time, that you’ve invited over to your house, and had played video games with, someone that you’re so close - you’re never going to see again,” former classmate Isaac Newland told WABC-TV.
