As part of his residency at The Pocantico Center, artist Alejandro Piñeiro Bello opens his studio inside the David Rockefeller Creative Arts Center to the public. Visitors will also be able to visit the DR Center Gallery, now showing Woven Wonders: Kykuit’s Picasso Tapestries.
Piñeiro Bello will be presenting a new body of watercolor works developed during his time at Pocantico. Drawing on the landscape, architecture, and history of the estate grounds, this collection reflects his ongoing exploration of place, memory, and light through watercolor.
Visitors will have the opportunity to view the works in progress and speak with the artist about his process and creative influences.
Guests may enjoy the new Sculpture Walk outside the DR Center.
