Event Details
Celebrate the Winter Solstice with an evening that moves through three transitions — Winter Comes, In the Darkness, A Glimmer of Light — a story told through music and atmosphere.
This staged concert spans nearly a thousand years of music: Gregorian and Armenian chant, medieval song, Baroque art song, early English and French ballads, and a world premiere by Jody Redhage Ferber, with voices and instruments reaching across centuries toward the same moment of renewal.
Join us at The Angel Nyack, featuring world class musicians:
Soprano, Ilana Davidson | Mezzo Soprano, Krista River | Recorder, Daphna Mor | Classical Guitar,Daniel Lippel | Cellist and ComposerJody Redhage Ferber.
Directed by Ray Cullom.
The evening also celebrates the release of our new album, Serenata Solstice ~ Echoes of Light. CDs will be available at the concert, and the album will be streaming everywhere starting December 19.
