'Celebrate Greenburgh' On For Saturday

The annual celebration will feature food, activities, water slides and more.

GREENBURGH, NY — "Celebrate Greenburgh" will take place Saturday at Anthony F. Veteran Park. The annual all-day celebration begins at 10 a.m. and last through fireworks once the sun goes down.

Only the Tennis Carnival has been canceled due to the heat, officials said.

The rain date is Sunday, July 21.

The pool entrance fee is $6, though it's free after 6 p.m.

Fireworks can be viewed from either Anthony F. Veteran Park, 11 Olympic Lane in Ardsley, or McDowell Park, across from Veteran Park.

  • Noon to 4 p.m., Dunk Tank (proceeds benefit Greenburgh Swim Team)
  • 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Band - "Push For Heat"
  • 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Westchester County’s “Be Fit” Mobile
  • 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Firetruck/Smokehouse
  • 1:30 p.m.to 3:30 p.m., Bubble Truck
  • 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Inflatable Water Slides
  • 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Greenburgh Nature Center
