Con Ed to start putting wires underground-to reduce power outages
experiment in Hartsdale to begin next month
Am so excited!!!! For years I have been pushing Con Ed to put wires undergrounds. They plan to test the concept on Birchwood Lane in Hartsdale. If the test works they will gradually expand the initiative. This is one approach that could result in fewer outages and fewer long term outages like we have had in the past. See link below.
