Connecticut Man Arrested on Assault Charges in Connection with New Year's Beating in Greenburgh

The incident occurred outside of the Royal Palace Restaurant on Knollwood Road.

Updated: A 27-year-old Redding, CT, man has been arrested on felony assault charges in connection with an attack outside of the Royal Palace Restaurant in Greenburgh that left a 39-year-old man suffering from head injuries.

The incident occurred just after 1 a.m. on New Year’s Day, and a second attacker may have been involved but as of now only one suspect has been arrested.

According to The Journal News, the suspect turned himself into police custody and was released after posting a $25,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Greenburgh Town Court Feb. 13.
