Date Set for 1st Public Hearing on Proposed 272-Unit Greenburgh Apartment Complex
The proposed complex, developed by JPI, is located on Lawrence Street in Ardsley and calls for 272 units and a 438-space parking lot.

Greenburgh officials have scheduled the first of many public hearings on the proposed Jefferson at Saw Mill River apartment complex for Jan. 13, 2016, according to Town Supervisor Paul Feiner. The hearing is set for 7:30 p.m. in Greenburgh Town Hall.
The proposed complex, developed by JPI, is located on Lawrence Street in Ardsley and calls for 272 units and a 438-space parking lot.
“We have hired a consultant, Ferrandino & Associates Inc. of Elmsford, NY, to assist in the review,” Feiner said in a statement. “The Town Board has declared that the Proposed Action may result in one or more significant adverse impacts.”

The proposal can be viewed on the development’s website and Facebook page. Additionally, documents can be viewed on the town website, and hard copies are available at the Greenburgh Public Library.
“We want to hear from you [the public],” said Feiner. “Based on your specific concerns about this project such as traffic, flooding, aesthetics, narrow-ness of Saw Mill River Road, impact to schools, lack of sidewalks, or something else, do you feel that the draft scope should be updated or expanded?”
