12th Annual African American Writers & Readers Literary Tea

The Westchester Library System welcomes novelist, playwright, poet, and journalist Pearl Cleage to offer a fresh perspective on the universal themes of cultural enrichment, social identity and the power of love. Held annually on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the Tea kicks off a month-long celebration of African American history, literature, and culture throughout the County's 38 public libraries.
