Participants will learn basic pet first aid to save a pet's life when an emergency strikes. Learn how to recognize and respond to life-threatening conditions at this class. CPR and first aid skills for cats and dogs are taught through hands-on practice on cat and dog manikins. This class will teach you how to recognize and provide care for signs of cardiac arrest, build a "pet friendly" first aid kit, and identify signals of breathing emergencies including choking. Each student will receive a Cat & Dog First Aid Certificate.
This class is 4 hours, and the course fee is $60.00. This course will be held at the American Red Cross in Westchester County chapter house, located at 106 N Broadway, White Plains, NY 10603.
