Career Planning Workshop Hosted at Ossining Public Library

The Ossining Public Library is hosting a free, one day career planning workshop that will take place on Saturday, September 25 from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon. The workshop is free and is open to all adults. The Ossining Public Library is located at 53 Croton Avenue in Ossining, New York.

Its no secret that over the past two years more jobs have been lost than at any time since the Great Depression of the 1930's. The recession has caused people still employed to question what they really want and expect from the work that they're doing, while those who are unemployed are often forced to consider working in areas that are completely new to them. Regardless of your own work situation, everyone needs to have a greater awareness about the new realities of the job marketplace and how we fit into those realities. Getting the job that you want can often come down to how well you market yourself and how effectively you put the information available to use.

If you have ever wanted to understand how to assess yourself to achieve a good career fit, learn about good sources of career information that are available or become the manager of your own career path in today's changing world, then this workshop is for you.
