It's the Fat Tuesday annual tradition before the penance period of Lent, and all are welcome to partake of the free pancake supper tonight at Christ Episcopal Church.
Empty your pantry of your favorite treats to top the pancakes (whipped cream, fruit, syrups, whatever). At 7:30 p.m. there is a bonfire outside the church where they burn palm branches from last year, and, said Priest Susan Copley, "it's really cool."
In the morning, on Ash Wednesday, Copley will be giving people their ash on the forehead on the Southbound platform of the Tarrytown Train Station, between the hours of 6 and 8 a.m.
