"Home Heating & Energy Savings: What You Need to Know will be presented on Thursday, October 28, 6:30-9 pm at Greenburgh Town Hall, 177 Hillside Avenue in Greenburgh.
This panel discussion, led by experts in the field, will focus on what homeowners need to know about home energy audits, home insulation, energy-efficient heating systems, sustainable energy alternatives and how to apply for rebates and financial incentives that are currently available through various government agencies and utilities.

Speakers will include Ann Farley and Bonnie Hagen who are both LEED AP and BPI certified and are providing home energy audits to homeowners. Energy experts, such as Andrew Fisher from Bright-Home, Chris Hale of SunBlue Energy and Larry Nissman of Phoenix Mechanical, will discuss insulation, heating and alternative energy solutions. Elizabeth Silleck, a coordinator for the Energy$mart Communities Program, an outreach project of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), will speak about incentives and rebates that can help defray the costs of energy upgrades. Following the panel presentation, there will be a Q&A session.
