Presentations by jazz musician and teacher, Marshall Tilden, will focus on the big bands, their influence on America and their eventual demise. Hear how big band music and jazz got started along with recordings of actual performances of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Louis Armstrong bands during the late 20's and 30's. In addition, there will be a live jazz piano performance by Marshall Tilden.
