Federated Conservationists of Westchester County, Inc. and Scenic Hudson will host Revitalizing Hudson Riverfronts: Opportunities in an Era of Global Climate Change.
A series of presentations and panel discussions will examine how redevelopment of Westchester County waterfronts can:
- stimulate the economy and jobs creation
- connect people to the Hudson River
- protect the environment
- and prepare for rising sea levels along the Hudson
Success stories - Westchester RiverWalk, Daylighting the Saw Mill in Yonkers, and Ossining's new comprehensive plan - will be examined. Expert participants will include a planner, conservation scientist, municipal officials and a community waterfront advocate.
