Workshops and panel discussions will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Program participants will learn what agents are looking for and how to distinguish themselves from the myriad submissions that agents receive. Other topics to be covered include:
- requirements for current fiction, memoir, and nonfiction book proposals
- the importance of platform and how to build one
- how to research and meet agents
- features of the query letter that will get your work requested
