This morning I had the opportunity to chaperone a group of 2nd Graders to Peabody Outdoor Classroom. Some may wonder what that is. Wonder no more.
Peabody Outdoor Classroom is a 39-acre nature preserve owned by the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns, used for hands-on learning in the outdoors.
It is an incredible gem just waiting to be discovered by the students of TUSFD.
