Feeding Westchester Breaks Record With Spring Gala

More than 300 Westchester residents, corporate leaders and friends attended the event.

TARRYTOWN, NY — It was a night to remember for Feeding Westchester which raised a record-breaking $400,000 during its annual spring gala held April 4t at Tappan Hill Mansion in Tarrytown. The total raised is the equivalent of 1.6 million meals.

More than 300 Westchester residents, corporate leaders and friends of Feeding Westchester gathered to raise money to help get nutritious food to their neighbors in need.

Nearly one-third of the 200,000 people in the county who are hungry are children.

Feeding Westchester’s mission is to end hunger in Westchester. As the heart of a network of more than 300 partners, the organization sources and distributes food, and other resources, to towns across Westchester helping to ensure that none of our neighbors are hungry. We feed 200,000 Westchester residents including families, seniors and 60,000 children.
