is listed here on Patch, in the phone book, and everywhere else online as 236 West Main Street. But plug this into your GPS, Mapquest or whatever tool you use (like our map here), and “you're going swimming,” said general manager Kristin Ozanian. 

To accommodate the new Hudson Harbor development, West Main Street got extended straight back to the cul-de-sac at the edge of the RiverWalk waterfront. But, as one town home owner/resident in the development told us, the highest number there is 169. 

“When will they change their address for the sake of all those who visit the place for the first time?" he asked. "The eatery is actually on Green Street, as you know, but is listed, advertised and found in GPS equipment as being on 236 West Main Street (an address that would place them somewhere in the river)."

If you spend any time walking around this area, or on the H-bridge, or even on the Sleepy Hollow side of the H-bridge for that matter, you'll encounter a lost driver rolling down their window to ask how to get to Striped Bass.

Ozanian agreed it's an issue they are addressing but that it takes some time to shift all the wrong listings out there. She hopes to get the new address updated everywhere – that's 236 Green Street – by the summer season. Then they will be, as they actually are, on the same road as their neighbors down the way, the and .

And not in the river.
