Greenburgh Expected to Allow Car Dealerships on Central Ave.
The Town Board is scheduled to vote on the measure Aug. 19.

The Greenburgh Town Board is expected to vote Wednesday to adopt a Local Law amending the Town Code to include Motor Vehicle Sales Uses and Motor Vehicle Sales Lots along Central Avenue, according to Town Supervisor Paul Feiner.
Officials considered the new law earlier this year and gave it a positive recommendation.
Such a use would be allowed under a Special Permit in the Central Avenue Mixed-Use Impact (CA) District.

“New car dealerships will be allowed on Central Avenue, helping to generate significant additional tax revenue for the town, fire and school districts,” said Feiner in a statement.
Wednesday’s Town Board meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall.
