Greenburgh To Pick Up Old TVs, Computers, Other E-Waste

Previously, residents had to take the discarded items to the DPW garage themselves.

GREENBURGH, NY — A new service will be provided in the town of Greenburgh to its residents.

Supervisor Paul Feiner said, for the first time, the town will be picking up old televisions, printers and computers during the week of Jan. 11.

"We are going to try this out, and if successful, we may offer the service a few times a year," he said.

In the past, residents had to drop off televisions and other e-waste at the Department of Public Works garage.

Pickups must be scheduled for collection, Feiner said.

To schedule an e-waste pickup, contact the office by email at dpw@greenburghny.com. Provide your name, address and the item or items that need to be picked up. Note: Pickups are limited to 2 to 3 items. A member of the staff will respond to the email with a scheduled pickup date.
